Tenacious Teenagers

Do you have a dog between the ages of 6-18 months? They are full of love but struggle to control their impulses! This class is specifically designed for those excitable teens who need help learning attention, focus, and manners. We will cover attention on cue, relaxation in new environments, coming when called, leash manners, and leave it.
*This 5-week long class costs $165, will meet in park environments, will require masks, and social distancing.
Class will be held on Sundays at 11:45AM, starting 11/1/2020-12/6/2020 (with Thanksgiving weekend off).

Advancing Manners -CGCA/CGCU Prep

Advanced Obedience: Do you and your dog have a good foundation? You can get a sit, down, stay, loose leash walking in most conditions but you still have trouble with distractions or duration of behavior?

 

This class will help you take your skills to the next level. You will also build your skills in a systematic manner to be able to take the American Kennel Club Canine Good Citizen Advanced and Urban Test. You will increase your bond with your dog while improving manners and proofing behaviors. The class fee includes fee for CGCA. Additional fee required if you would also like to test for the CGCU.

 

Prerequisites: Participants need to have attended Mindful Manners or another approved basic obedience course.

 

Participants will test for the American Kennel Club Canine Good Citizen Advanced or Urban Award. Contact us for more details.

The class will be held at 2:15PMPM on Sunday evenings in Brookhaven Area Parks. Class includes four weeks of practice with the test being held on week five. Masks and social distancing required.
