Group Classes

Group puppy training and dog training classes below are available for registration around the Atlanta and metro Atlanta, GA area. Before your first class, you will receive an email with location information and a packing list to help you and your dog prepare for class. Not sure what class is appropriate for you and your dog? Atlanta, GA Group Dog Training Classes 

Hounds That Hike: Group hikes with other dogs are a great physical and mental outlet. For many dogs, it provides great social benefits while removing potential conflicts of direct play with high arousal. Practice some attention and trail manners as you navigate the trails with other dog and handler teams. These drop-in classes are suitable for current client dogs 6 months and older.
Location: Varied Atlanta area trails
Duration: 60 minutes
Start Date: Every other Sunday, 9:30AM
Cost: $20 / hike

Covington, GA Group Dog Training Classes

Nose Work Foundations: 
Interested in getting involved in nose work? It is a great activity for dogs of all ages, a beginner-friendly sport for new teams, and can have lots of great behavioral benefits for dogs. Join this introduction course to start building foundations for this fun sniffing game.

Dacula, GA Group Dog Training Classes

Puppy Class: Suitable for puppies 8 weeks to 6.5 months of age. Class is designed to help puppies work on social skills and start introducing key concepts to make living with them easier. Learn how to establish good routines, meet key developmental needs, and build important behaviors you will use daily. 
Location: Brightside. Dacula, GA
Duration: 6 Weeks

Lawrenceville, GA Group Dog Training Classes

Hounds on the Town Drop-In: This field-trip style class is taken in public settings to help give you guidance on transitioning from in-class to the real world. Some dogs can become excitable in new places like parks and restaurant patios. Hounds on the Town is designed to help your dog develop more neutrality to people and dogs. Group sizes are kept small to help support you and your dog while you work on building tools that make navigating life with your dog less stressful.

* Class is suitable for dogs already enrolled in a Pawsitive Futures' group class or private lesson program. 

Location: Larenceville public parks
Duration: 4 weeks
Start Date: February 26th, 6:00PM, 60 minutes 
Cost: $45 per class, clients may pick and choose which classes they would like to attend

 

Tucker, GA Group Dog Training Classes 

AKC Star Puppy: Ready to start training your puppy? This class is suitable for puppies 8 weeks to 4 months of age. Puppies will gain valuable foundations for life skills like body handling for grooming and veterinary care, attention and recall, polite greetings and more! At the end of the course puppies will be eligible to receive their AKC Star Puppy title.

Mindful Manners: Mindful Manners is a foundational manners class. This group class is suitable for dogs 4 months and older and will help you and your dog establish strong foundations for life skills. Teams will work through behaviors like attention, sit and down, wait, leash walking, recall, and more. You will learn how to work with distractions and engage your dog for more handler focus and less stress!

Duration: 6 weeks

Start Date: March 5th, 7:00PM, 60 minutes
