Puppy Class- Tucker, GA

You have a new puppy in your life and you are ready to get started on the right foot! Beginning training early can help set you and your puppy up for a great future together! In this upcoming puppy class Pawsitive Futures Trainer Hannah will help you master all of those early learning stages including discussions about biting, jumping, housetraining, and socialization. Plus begin building strong foundations for attention, recall, relaxation, and drop!

 

This class will take place for four weeks with Hannah Pemberton  beginning Sunday January 7th, 2024 at 1:30PM. Suitable for puppies 8 weeks to 5 months. Class costs $175.

Classes will be held at Mister Migs in Tucker, GA (an indoor and temperature-controlled space). Packing list for class and class location will be emailed to students prior to the first session.

Nosework Foundation - Tucker, GA

Are you interested in dabbling in a new activity with your dog? Nosework is a great game that can be played wtih dogs of all ages and all kinds. It is a lovely way to tire them out and teach them to solve puzzles all while building your relationship and communication as a team.

This four week introduction class with Hannah Pemberton will help you learn the foundations of searching! Class begins on Sunday January 7th at 3:30PM and costs $175. 

Classes will be held at 
Mister Migs in Tucker, GA (an indoor and temperature-controlled space). Packing list for class and class location will be emailed to students prior to the first session.

Mindful Manners - Tucker, GA

Building proper training foundations can be the difference between frustration and easy living with your canine partner. Join Abbey Johnson for our Mindful Manners class where you will learn how those building blocks work and begin to master those essential foundations like relaxation on a bed, coming when called, loose leash walking, attention with distractions, and more!

This six week introduction class will help you build strong manners foundations that will improve you rcommunication with your dog and help you two live together with less stress and more fun! Class begins on Wednesday January 10th at 7:00PM and costs $200. 

Classes will be held at PUP Rehabilitation and Conditioning 
in Tucker, GA (an indoor and temperature-controlled space). Packing list for class and class location will be emailed to students prior to the first session.

Canine Good Citizen Prep - Tucker, GA

Can your dog go out into public spaces with ease? Learning to be a good citizen takes some practice. Join Abbey Johnson for a 6 week preparation class for the American Kennel Club Canine Good Citizen Test. This class includes 5 weeks of coaching and one week of testing.

This six week class  begins on Tuesday January 9th at 6:30PM and costs $200.

PUP Rehabilitation and Conditioning in Tucker, GA (an indoor and temperature-controlled space). Packing list for class and class location will be emailed to students prior to the first session.

Intermediate Nosework- Lawrenceville, GA

Join Livvy Shafer for a 6 week intermediate level nosework class. This class is suitable for students who already have experience searching vehicles, interior, and exterior and are ready to start odor.

This six week class will be held at local parks in the Gwinnett area, begins Monday January 8th at 7:30PM and costs $200. 

Packing list for class and class location will be emailed to students prior to the first session. 

loose leash

Loose Leash Walking- Forsyth Area

You head out to go for a walk, but you can't enjoy your time together because of all the pulling! The world is an exciting place for our dogs, so attention and loose leash can be a struggle. Join us for a four-week class designed to help you start to build or rebuild those leash skills so you can walk in peace! Work on attention, direction changes, handling distractions, and more!

Join Ali Weihl for this four week class, which will be held at local parks in the Forsyth area. Class begins Tuesday January 9th at 3:00PM and costs $175.

Leash Walking

Hounds Around Town- Forsyth Area

After building a foundation at home, it is time to take your skills on the road! Learning to strengthen your dog's behaviors and build better focus with real-world distractions can be challenging. This group class is designed to help support you through that process! Join Ali Weihl and learn special techniques to help get and keep your dogs focus, how to improve relaxation in public, and build duration of behaviors in real-world settings.

This four week class will be held at local parks in the Forsyth area, begins Monday January 8th at 6:00PM and costs $175.

Hounds That Hike!- Metro Atlanta

Are you ready for the next big social outing for your dog? Camille will be offering some group hikes! This is a great chance to keep that young dog of yours social, practice some manners on the trail, and get in some good sniffs and views all while hitting the trails with like-minded dog people!

 

Hikes will take place the every other Sunday 10:00AM through May and at 9:00AM starting in June.  Suitable for dogs 4 months and older who have previously completed services with us. Costs $20/hike.

Hikes will take place at Atlanta and Metro-Atlanta area parks. The packing list, schedule, and Covid safety restrictions will be emailed before class.
