I had my first dog when I was 4 years old and dreamed of working with dogs since then. Over the years I had many different dogs with unique personalities. Each had their own learning style which allowed me to assess and apply different training techniques to create a happy and well socialized dog that enjoyed playing dog sports such as agility and nosework.

As a data scientist and statistician, I was drawn to the science on how to best train our dogs. I attended conferences and read many books to learn how to best apply positive reinforcement training to each individual dog and temperament.

Recently retiring from the corporate world, I now can share my love of dogs and training with others. My passion is on choice based and positive reinforcement training, specially all the husbandry and care that our dogs need for their lifetime. I love seeing dogs and their people blossom as they learn how to build a bond and communication channel for life.

I am a certified CPDT-KA positive reinforcement trainer and I am continuously learning through the latest research, books and conferences on science-based training.
